Sr. Principal @ AWS • Autonomous Driving • Generative AI • AI Accelerators
I am a Sr. Principal at AWS and Gold Jacket holder, working with the largest automotive and technology companies to build production AI systems at scale.
I created the Autonomous Driving Data Framework (ADDF), an open-source platform used by OEMs including BMW Group and Qualcomm to process petabytes of autonomous driving data on AWS. My recent research, NKI-Agent, combines domain-specific fine-tuning with a compile-verify-fix agent loop to generate hardware-optimized kernels for AWS Trainium.
I have spoken at AWS re:Invent every year since 2017 and at the United Nations on AI for Road Safety, and I am an invited speaker at the KDD 2026 Day on AI Reasoning on harness-guided reasoning for coding agents. My research has been published at ICML 2026 and AAAI 2026, alongside 20+ technical articles on AWS architecture, autonomous driving, and generative AI. I hold all active AWS certifications and received the AWS Technical Field Community Collaboration Award (2021).
I regularly share my work on LinkedIn, Medium, and in blog posts covering topics from LLM inference and autonomous driving to cloud data architectures.
Previously, I studied at the University of Cologne. I am fluent in English, German, and Chinese.
